Terms of Service
Last updated August 18, 2026
These terms cover your use of brasssailor.com. Brass Sailor (“we”, “us”) hasn’t opened for business yet — this site is a preview of a collection still in the making, and nothing on it is offered for sale.
When the shop opens, terms covering orders, pricing, shipping, and returns will be added here. Until then, what follows is all that applies. We’ve kept it as plain as we can.
1. Using the site
You’re welcome to browse and to share links to anything here. Please don’t scrape, mirror, or republish our photography or writing without written permission.
You agree not to interfere with how the site runs, attempt to reach any system you haven’t been given access to, or use the site to break the law.
2. Nothing here is an offer to sell
The collection is described and photographed as it is being developed. Pieces, names, materials, and timing may change, and some may not be produced at all. Nothing on this site is a firm offer, and no order can be placed through it.
Any date we mention for a season or a launch is our present intention, not a commitment.
3. Joining the list
If you give us your email address, we’ll use it to tell you when the collection is ready, and you can unsubscribe from any email we send. What we do with it is set out in our Privacy Policy.
4. Intellectual property
The Brass Sailor name, the wordmark, and the designs, photography, and writing on this site belong to us. Please don’t use them in any way that suggests we endorse a product, service, or business that we haven’t.
5. Disclaimers and limits
The site is provided as-is. We don’t guarantee it will always be available or free of errors, and we may change or take down any part of it at any time. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for losses arising from your use of the site.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York County.
7. Changes
We may revise these terms — most substantially when the shop opens. The date at the top tells you when they last changed.
