Spring 2027 was photographed at Joslyn Castle in Omaha with Morgan and Akwaj, the first two members of the Crew: one collection, one house, and a great deal of light. Every photograph from that shoot is them. Summer and Fall 2027 could be photographed on you.

Three photos, a few words, and an email and password for your free Brass Sailor account, all at the foot of this page. Nothing is public; your photos are seen by the people casting and no one else.

We write back when Summer and Fall 2027 are being cast. No dates promised, no form letters.
Questions
Before you apply.
- Is it paid?
- Yes. Paid work, free product, and paid travel when you’re cast for a shoot. Not every role includes all of it at once, and we’ll always say which.
- Is there a fee to apply?
- Never. There is no fee to apply, to be cast, or to be photographed, and we will never ask you for money.
- What sizes are you casting?
- All sizes. The Crew is women who wear the clothes the way they’d wear them anyway.
- Do I need an agent, a portfolio or experience?
- No. Three phone photos and a few words, in your own voice, are the whole application.
- Where are the shoots?
- Wherever you live, across the US. Some collections call for travel, and when they do, we pay for it.
- When will I hear back?
- We read every application ourselves and write back when Summer and Fall 2027 are being cast. We don’t promise a date, and we never send form letters.
- Who sees my photos?
- Only the people casting the Crew. Nothing is public, and nothing is published without your written permission.
- How old do I need to be?
- 18 or older.
