Monthly Prize Draw — Official Rules

1. No purchase necessary

No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning. Points cannot be bought — they are earned only by taking part in the Fashionista program.

2. Sponsor

The draw is sponsored by Brass Sailor (the "Sponsor"), which runs the Fashionista program on this website.

3. Who can enter

Open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 or older at the time of entry and have a Fashionista account with a verified email address. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Employees of the Sponsor and their immediate families and household members are not eligible.

Each time you enter you confirm that you are 18 or older and live in the United States. Entries that do not meet these rules are void.

4. Draw period

There is one draw for each calendar month. Entries made during a month (by Coordinated Universal Time, UTC) go into that month’s draw.

5. How to enter

Free entry: every player who plays at least one round of the style games in a month (a like, a pass, or a This-or-That pick) and has a verified email address can take one free entry for that month from the Rewards page. After you have confirmed your eligibility once, your free entry is added automatically for every later month in which you play, until these rules change.

Entries with points: you may also use program points for extra entries, at 100 points per entry, up to 50 such entries a month. Points have no cash value and cannot be purchased.

Limit: one free entry per person per month. Entries made by bots, scripts, multiple or fake accounts, or any other abuse are void, and the Sponsor may disqualify anyone who takes part in them.

6. Odds

Your odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for that month: your entries divided by the total number of entries. Your Rewards page shows both numbers.

7. How the winner is picked

On or shortly after the 1st of each month, one winner for the previous month is picked automatically by a computer at random from all eligible entries. Every entry has an equal chance. The random seed and the list of entries used are recorded so the result can be checked.

A person whose prizes from the program would exceed the program’s annual prize limit (see the Program Terms) is not eligible to win that draw.

8. The prize

One prize per month: a curated box of sample garments, chosen by the Sponsor. The approximate retail value is stated in the draw announcement. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred, and no substitution is allowed except by the Sponsor, which may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

9. Winner notification and claim

The winner is notified by email at the address on their account. The winner must sign in and submit a US shipping address within 14 days. If the prize is not claimed in time, or the winner is found ineligible, the prize may be awarded to an alternate winner drawn at random from the remaining entries, once; after that it is forfeited.

We will never ask for payment, bank details or card details to claim a prize.

10. Taxes

The winner is responsible for any taxes on the prize.

11. Privacy

We use your account details and entries only to run the draw. A winner’s shipping address is used only to send the prize. We do not publish a winner’s name without their permission.

12. General

The Sponsor may cancel, suspend or change the draw if fraud, technical failure or any other cause affects its fairness, in which case it may pick a winner from the eligible entries received before the problem. By entering you agree to these rules and to the Fashionista Program Terms. These rules are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
